Meeting environmental obligations
Cater Care’s environmental strategy has been shaped over a decade by a dedicated team with an ongoing commitment to building a more sustainable business.
To maximise our positive impact on the environment, our strategy not only covers our own business but reaches out to those groups that can magnify our efforts to create an environmentally sustainable business.
Considering clients’ needs
We work to establish mutually beneficial environmental management plans with our clients. These plans can include reduced electricity usage, water consumption, waste management, chemical and fuel management, and risk control.
Caring for customers
Cater Care understands that good environmental management begins with the individual choices we make each day. Our environmental awareness campaigns remind customers within the sites we manage that it’s often the simple things that can prove to be the most environmentally effective.
Engaging our communities
Cater Care aspires to be a leader in community engagement. Our communities often extend beyond immediate work sites and into surrounding towns and regions. We assist in environmental management in these communities including waste transportation, recycling, water use and the protection of flora and fauna.
Learning from colleagues
Cater Care takes great pride in the environmental contribution made by our employees. Through the staff induction scheme, ongoing environment toolbox training and regular staff communications, Cater Care commits to programs that help reduce our overall environmental footprint.
Cater Care has joined the CitySwitch program and achieved a 5 star rating. We can now pass our learning’s onto clients to help reduce electricity consumption and save costs.
