Our Reconciliation Action Plan describes how we will help close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
We believe we have a responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the Indigenous communities in which we operate. This aligns with our core values – care, pride and community.
Our goal is to engage meaningfully with other stakeholders, government and Indigenous communities, particularly those in remote areas with fewer employment and business opportunities.
We want to build strong commercial joint ventures with Indigenous businesses because we genuinely care for the communities in which we live and work. This means developing the skills of our people and creating an inclusive culture. Our aim is to expand Indigenous participation within our organisation.
In all our operations, we intend to create genuine economic partnerships with local communities so that we can help to sustain Indigenous people and country now and into the future.

We’re proud to be working with the Kariyarra people of Port Hedland WA on our joint venture ‘Nguku’, which delivers real employment and training opportunities to the Kariyarra people and their community.
Services include provision of cleaning, gardening, maintenance, bus driving and cultural awareness training at remote mine sites.
The Nguku joint venture is a symbol of strength and opportunity for the Kariyarra people, building real business capability and project management skills within their community.
