2016 marks the 18th year of the Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence.
The Awards are designed to identify and promote industry best practice; setting national benchmarks to recognise outstanding venues and service, evaluating all aspects of the dining experience rather than a single dimension.
Across Australia, our trained and experienced staff demonstrate the Awards philosophy – industry best practice. On a daily basis, we prepare nutritionally balanced, home-style and innovative meals to remote workforces, retirement and aged care residents, students and boarders, and to our business and industry customers.
As these are the premier awards within the catering industry the competition and standard of nominations is very high. Just gaining acceptance for a nomination is a great achievement.
Representing Cater Care in the Awards for Excellence this year are:
- Southern Cross Care, Glen Woodley Estate – Site Contract Caterer
- Cook Medical Devices – Industrial Caterer
- Jellinbah Mining Pty Ltd, Jellinbah Village – Site Contract Caterer; and
- Sandfire, Degrussa Village – Site Contract Caterer
These nominations provide an opportunity for our site teams to be recognised for their exceptional talent, innovation, and commitment to the culinary industry.
Regardless of our clients’ industry, we cater to individual tastes, likes, and dislikes by consulting directly with clients and customers; a process designed to ensure correct interpretations and realise continual quality improvements. We offer a variety of meal options, encourage communication and engagement with each client community, and look for efficiencies in managing customer services.
Over the next three months, the state winners will be announced at a presentation event (held in each state), and the National winners will be announced on Monday, October 24 in Sydney.
